Lullaby 03:56
Everywhere she goes, she feels so out of place. Everything she knows makes her hide away her face. No memory of her life before her feet are getting sore. She holds her breath, she shuts her eyes locks away the pain inside. Feels the rain and starts to cry, sings herself a lullaby. Stepping through the grass, wind blows through her hair. Nobody’s around but it feels like someone’s there She knows if she goes too far, she’ll hurt land face first in the dirt. But she knows that if she doesn’t try she won’t escape the lie. She holds her breath, she shuts her eyes locks away the pain inside. Feels the rain and starts to cry, sings herself a lullaby. Locked in a world where she tries so hard to break free there’s no mistaking it’s her life they’re taking when she tries to break away trapped inside yesterday. She holds her breath, she shuts her eyes locks away the pain inside. Feels the rain and starts to cry, sings herself a lullaby.

It’s so fascinating, the way that you move. They would have never seen anything like you. They way that you talk, they’re not hearing your words but watching as they fly like runaway birds. They watch as you shy away from the dancefloor. They find it confusing and want to know more. Although you won’t see it while you’re still awake, the cameras move closer with each breath you take. You’re being analysed, all their eyes, all the time. You’re the experiment. They chop and change your life, their Frankenstein inside their lies. You're the experiment. They walk around setting traps and sit and wait. hoping in secret that you’ll take the bait so they can record the way you react. Everything’s legal if you’re still intact. You’re being analysed, all their eyes, all the time. You’re the experiment. They chop and change your life, their Frankenstein inside their lies. You're the experiment. Electrically charging the fences and walls. Forced to stay low, you’re reduced to a crawl. “For research’s good!” is their only defense. Somehow they get away with this pretense. There’s no sense in hiding ‘cause everywhere’s wired. Don’t vent your fears, your confidants are liars. The trigger’s been pulled so try not to get hit by stones that they’ve thrown and the fires they’ve lit. You’re being analysed, all their eyes, all the time. You’re the experiment. They chop and change your life, their Frankenstein inside their lies. You're the experiment. You’re being analysed, all their eyes, all the time. You’re the experiment.

Fairytale 06:25
This is a fairytale of fairies flown away. This would be story time if time was left for today so instead we sit in silence and silently we play songs that nobody will hear of words we’d never say. This isn’t what you think, but it’s close to what you’ve heard. This important now so listen closely to every word or the meaning behind each one may get lost between the sounds but there’s nobody to translate. You’re the only one around. Warnings crafted for your own good. Magic stories from your childhood. Written off by whispered rumours. Recycled in tasteless humour. Narrated by one you’d never think you’d forget to remember. Foretelling events you wouldn’t ever believe, and so you shouldn’t. This is a memory of the times that never were. It’ll be short and sweet. You won’t have to listen much longer. Hopefully it will linger in your mind for years to come so the lesson will stay with you when the story’s dead and done. Warnings crafted for your own good. Magic stories from your childhood. Written off by whispered rumours. Recycled in tasteless humour. Narrated by one you’d never think you’d forget to remember. Foretelling events you wouldn’t ever believe, and so you shouldn’t. (so you shouldn’t) be too careful, it’s all nonsense after all. How could tired stories hope to catch you if you fall? You never gave a second thought to them once you were grown. But what is there to guide you now you’re standing on your own? Warnings crafted for your own good. Magic stories from your childhood. Written off by whispered rumours. Recycled in tasteless humour. Narrated by one you’d never think you’d forget to remember. Foretelling events you wouldn’t ever believe, and so you shouldn’t.
